Ann Gunter joined the firm in 1985, with previous work experience that included six years with an Environmental Planning firm, managing public and private projects throughout California. She currently is Vice-President of Planning, and manages the Planning and Graphics Divisions through the coordination of the internal project design team, overseeing progress and internal operations, with primary responsibility for the quality and consistency of work within the divisions.
Ann uses her broad range of project management experience to assist clients in processing and approval of discretionary projects. She has successfully managed completion of projects that have included large scale specific plans, commercial, residential, and industrial developments, with primary responsibility for coordinating with all team members, and interfacing with public agency staffs.
Ann’s communication and negotiation skills are invaluable in her ability to clarify complex issues with a variety of development team members and community groups and city staffs, melding divergent viewpoints into effective project solutions. She continues to keep current on CEQA requirements to assist TLPG clients in meeting environmental compliance regulations. Ann finds creative means to address project issues that allow for successful design and coordination, working with diverse teams on implementation of infrastructure, site development, and entitlement processing.
